Barrie Airbnb Co-Hosting & Luxury Vacation Rental Management

Barrie is our home market. We've hosted our own homes here for about six years, including a farmhouse that ranks among the top-10 earning short-term rentals in the city (AirDNA, Oct 2026). Now we bring that same care to a small number of high-end homes across Barrie and Simcoe County.

Seasonal demand

Barrie Through the Seasons

Every market has its own rhythm. We plan pricing, minimum stays and maintenance around yours.

Winter

Ski & snow weekends

Nearby ski hills and snow trails bring groups and families for weekend getaways.

Spring

Quieter shoulder months

Work trips, families visiting and early cottage-season bookings. Pricing and minimum stays matter most here.

Summer

Lake season

Lake Simcoe and Kempenfelt Bay drive peak demand, especially for larger homes and anything near the water.

Fall

Colours & long weekends

Fall colours, Thanksgiving and harvest weekends keep demand steady into October.

Local rules

Short-Term Rental Licensing in Barrie

LicenceAt our last review, Barrie had no short-term rental licensing by-law in force. Council adopted a staff report in April 2025 recommending a licensing by-law and public consultation, so rules are expected.
Accommodation taxA Municipal Accommodation Tax applies to stays booked through platforms.
Other by-lawsParking, noise, property standards and open-air burning rules apply to short-term rentals like any home.
What we doWe watch for the new by-law and help clients comply as soon as it takes effect.

Last reviewed October 2026. This is a plain-language summary, not legal advice. Rules change; confirm with the municipality before you rent. [add links to the official municipal page]

We confirm what your town requires, help prepare the licence application where needed, and check that your insurance covers short-term rental use.
Linens, amenities, safety items, smart lock and a home manual set to our standard, with a recommended upgrade list where it will pay back.
Professional photos and a listing written to set accurate, appealing expectations for high-end guests.
Seasonal rates, event pricing, minimum stays and your owner-use dates set before the calendar opens.
We watch the first bookings and reviews closely, then sit down with you at 90 days to review results and next steps.
